First off, let me just say I'm using some mods on the PC version which alter grip levels/pace for the 2013 Season. It's the True to Life AI/2013 mod, if you visit RaceDepartment then surely you know of it. Now, that said, the tyres used for Suzuka this year are Option-SOFT and Prime-HARD. I took this setup, only thing I touched was I bumped the front wing angle up one notch, and ran a 1:39:1 on the hard tyres. I haven't got to the options yet, but with this mod that's a damn quick time lol. This is career as well, not TT. I was carrying around 12 laps of fuel, and running on rich as well. I felt I could of went faster in the first sector S's but I played it safe and still got close to the 1:38s which you ran on mediums. So, to you sir, amazing job getting the williams up to speed. I am currently playing on Professional difficulty, because again this mod changes everything in the database including adjusting difficulty levels to make them as realistic as possible so professional difficulty puts the AI at at the closest pace to their real life speed this season, and I am over 1 second faster than Raikkonen, Vettel, and Hamilton(at their current mercedes pace) in practice. I'll update once I get out of qualifying and into the 100% I plan on running here.

Great job man. I'll be using your setups from now on as a baseline for my tweaking but other than bumping the front wing up a hair to get more grip in the first sector on the harder tyre, I didn't get need to do anything, I may drop 7th gear a notch as well just to make the most out of the revs going down the front straight with drs. Before I jump hard on the brakes on the turn in(I brake very late going into turn one, I;m already well committed to the corner before I brake hard(takes some practice for sure without ABS and having to use high brake pressure) I'd say I have another 1-1.5 seconds before I touched the limiter in 7th. So I could probably pick up another 2-4kmh but thats just nit picking. I'll have to try it lol.

With semi-heavy load for Practice (12laps fuel + 6laps old Prime tyres) I was able to get to high 1:37's. Best with very worn tires was 1:37.713 and I am certain you can get a lot better time if you can get the first sector very nicely...
The gearbox setup is meant to be "too short", because in a race setup the long geared box with heavy fuel load could not get over 290kph on the longest strait, when with my current setup 300kph is just attainable with DRS closed and on STANDARD fuel richness. With DRS open and rich fuel setup the 7th gear fall short, so little adjustment on the gearbox might increase speed even further - althought Caterham is slow as heck...

OTHER NOTABLE THINGS

I am on a PC and I have the huge Realism Pack installed, so tire wear is real for AI and very high damage for collissions.
