That setup proved useful for me in the McLaren Honda in Career mode full weekends. Qualified P4, Finished P5. Struggled with tyre wear and had to make a 3 stopper late into the race. But a decent run!

I've never posted a setup before so hope i've done it right. :P This is a pretty good set up for HAAS and has took hours of tweaking, the handling model for F1 2016 is so much different from F1 2015 so tweaking is necessary now. If you need to alter it, it's a good starting point.

If anyone has got a tyre management setup for career mode could u help me out by post a career setup or tyre management setup struggling with this and I would prefer console setup but pc will do lol reply with setups plz

Take one of our tunes and dont push it hard mine should last as long as you arent pushing every lap hope it helps pal cheers

So far I've felt the most comfortable with this setup, really REALLY comfortable under acceleration that's been my main problem... Take this and mix it with a little bit of James and a little bit of Styx and you could potentially have some fire stuff here (;

 

P.S. - in F1 2015 I was able to run everywhere without traction control with no problems... This game i have to have traction control on medium to even feel the slightest bit comfortable. Anybody else notice the excessive wheel spin under acceleration?

Do you play with a controller?

i do, and the acceration is very difficult. The Wheel spin is pushing the car in heavy over steer.

i gear up when I accelerate. It helps a little bit.

How do you gear up on ps4 please ? With an automatic clutch? I'm struggling with this, 

also looking for any Williams setups for all tracks, cheers.

Balanced, I'm pretty hard on the tyres. If you can manage them well aggresive could be possible. Cautios is a no go in my opinion

Started with Styx's setup (I always trust his instincts) but I needed much more wing.  Had a tough time keeping the back end under me so I messed with the differential.  I would love for someone to explain how they feel the throttle locking works because I feel it's just hit or miss.

I am going to update the setup later after the race.

Race:  Decided to leave the setup as is.  Started on SS; 2 stops: S on lap 6 and M on lap 15.  Set a best lap of 1:31.382 on the S on lap 11.  My times were everywhere.  I was struggling with rear grip and my engineer kept on throwing new strategies at me.  Had a safety car laps 20-23 which pushed me back to 8th, but I got back to 6th in the final laps.

This is the best edition of F1 to date.  It was probably the most entertaining single player race I've ever done.  My hands are sore from gripping the controller.  I had a race long battle with Bottas and was able to hold him off at the end since he was on soft tires.

You need to be on Manual Transmission to shift the car yourself.  I don't believe the game lets you override the Automatic setting.  I believe the control is the X button, however they can all be changed.  I prefer the O for gear up and the [square] button for gear down.
