Agreed. Also gives you more stability should you choose to attack the kerbs and boot it on the apex of most corners (Turns 1; turns 5-9).

I think some cars could get away with less downforce, to maximise overtaking potential on the straights, but honestly 1/1 wing setup is too low.

I really liked Styx's setup, at least for career is a very sensible choice, I managed a 1:11.000 with SS on practice and is soft on the tyres... Although I had to raise the break pressure up to 80 or I had to break too early into corner 2 to not end up out of the track.

I'm using  this setup for Manor and I only had to do one lap of track acclimatization instead of 3 since I got  a perfect score. Great setup

A very good set up for any car and I have used this set up on other tracks to great affect (Silverstone, Spa, and Monza). Great on the kerbs and on turn in to the corner and fair enough on exit (It could be me being a tad happy on the throttle). Only problem I found with this set-up is that I couldn't manage tyre wear very well and that on the harder of the three tyres it is hard not to lock up - again could all be down to driving style. The only alteration I could offer to those using this set up is to experiment with the brake pressure so that you can trail break a little.

Tyre pressures are too high for racing as well as the ballast distribution causes heavy blistering. Great pace but not practice for anything but time trial.

cheers to you and Styx. I followed this setup and up'd the brake pressure like you said and managed a 1:09:679 on ultrasofts. Very happy. Gave me pole on Expert mode.

Finished 5th after late safety car and rain, didn't change tyers when I should've thus was on softs for final 2 laps in intermediate conditions, held a 38 second lead before safety car so would have won easily but for my own error in judgement. Upgrades are engine: 2, chassis weight: 2, downforce: 2 and drag: 2

Setup could be considered a little hard on tyers but not too bad, had plenty of time up my sleeve to conserve a little.

Nice setup. You at first fell the car a little bit light and strange, but doing a few laps you feel it very comfortable, mostly in the second sector. But i think that is bad for the tyres in race
